We're a team of hoteliers, technologists, and frequent travellers based in Navi Mumbai — united by one frustration: the booking experience had stopped working for the people it was supposed to serve.

Hotels were paying 15–25% commission to platforms that owned their guest relationships. Guests were paying inflated prices for impersonal, inflexible stays with no way to talk to a real person before handing over their money.

The Hotel Mate is built on a simple belief — that a guest and a hotel should be able to speak to each other directly, agree on a fair price, and trust that both sides are protected. Our AI assistant, Ask Mate, makes sure that conversation happens at scale.
